Your Home Team is a Lincoln City Foundation initiative that uses the power of football to create positive experiences, trusted relationships and lasting memories for children in care across Lincolnshire.

Working alongside Lincolnshire County Council and Lincoln City Football Club, the programme provides opportunities for young people to connect with their local football club through fun activities, player engagement, matchday experiences and workshops designed to build confidence, resilience and aspiration.

Many children in care experience disruption, uncertainty and isolation. Through Your Home Team, we want every young person to know that Lincoln City is a place where they are welcomed, valued and supported.

Throughout the programme, participants will:

• Take part in engaging football and enrichment activities.

• Meet Lincoln City players and hear about their own journeys.

• Build confidence, friendships and life skills.

• Enjoy memorable experiences at the ProAmpac Stadium and other local attractions. 

• Discover opportunities to stay connected with the Foundation long after the project ends.

Premier League and PFA Players' Fund

Your Home Team was made possible by the Premier League and Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) Players' Fund. Administered through the Premier League Foundation, the funding helps football clubs tackle inequality and respond to local challenges, supporting people and their communities to be more inclusive.

​

This season, 75 projects are being delivered across the Premier League and English Football League, supported by the Premier League and the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) in their local communities.

​

Funded projects have engaged more than 250,000 unique participants through more than 350,000 sessions across England and Wales. Projects are supported by current and former professional football players, as well as scholars, helping to enhance the impact on participants.
